Your next coffee will be extraordinary

I help people set up their specialty coffee setup — completely free. Because great coffee should be for everyone.

Who am I?

I'm André, a software engineer by day and passionate home barista in my free time. Over the past year I've learned a lot about the art of specialty coffee — from choosing single-origin beans to dialling in the perfect espresso extraction.

I believe extraordinary coffee doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. With the right setup and a bit of knowledge, anyone can make at home what the best cafés charge a fortune for.

That's why I offer this service for free — it's my way of sharing something that genuinely brings me joy.

How I can help

Home setup

I'll help you choose a machine, grinder, and accessories suited to your budget and lifestyle.

Bean selection

Origin, process, roast profile — I'll help you understand what you're drinking and where to find the best.

Dialling in

Already have equipment but the coffee isn't quite right? I'll help you dial in the grind, dose, and extraction.

My setup

My home espresso setup is the Sage Bambino Plus and the DF54 electric grinder. For filter I use the Clever Dripper and the KINGrinder K6 hand grinder. I also make AeroPress. Beans are always single-origin, locally roasted, with the roast date on the bag.

Roasted by Torra Roasting & Coffee

The best espresso coffee I've ever tasted — and the one my friends have been loving. Sweet, round and juicy, with a velvety body that also shines in a flat white.

Roasted by SO Coffee Roasters

My favourite filter coffee. Grown by Pepe Jijón in Ecuador's cloud forest and fermented with his "Wave" process — a clean, floral and citric cup with incredible clarity and a syrupy texture.

I buy coffee from these roasters. If you're in Porto or Lisbon, they're well worth a visit.
